Recreate the story of Houdini’s famous Jail Cell Escape live onstage. This illusion is not only a multi-phase penetration illusion. It’s also a chance to take your audience back in history to hear stories of the legendary “Handcuff King” and explore the different theories of how he may have escaped a jail cell. Did he simply pick the locks or did he somehow de-materialize and walk right through the bars?
Those that come onstage and touch the cell door would swear it was made from iron or steel. While the bars are made of steel (and certainly sound like it) the frame is made of a lightweight material which assembles and disassembles without any tools in less than 5 minutes. The entire door is fully examinable, yet packs nearly flat into a 6′ x 6″ space. Easily pack and transport it in your vehicle.
